Dodgers 1's Roll Past Scots Behind Bolton & Petri

​Dodgers 1's 2025 won big over Scots 1's 16-1 on Sunday. Dodgers 1's jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Rod Baulch singled, scoring two runs, Aaron Petri tripled, scoring one run, and Nick Whatley doubled, scoring two runs.

 

A triple by Callum Bolton, and a ground out by Aaron Petri helped Dodgers 1's extend their early lead in the second. Dodgers 1's scored seven runs on four hits in the bottom of the third inning. Jack Warner hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, Rod Baulch hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Nick Whatley drew a walk, scoring one run, and Jack Warner singled, scoring two runs.

 

Callum Bolton earned the win for Dodgers 1's. The left-handed pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking two. Chris Hayden took the loss for Scots 1's. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering 16 runs (13 earned) on 11 hits, striking out two and walking nine. Aaron Petri appeared in relief for Dodgers 1's.

 

Dodgers accumulated 11 hits in the game. Aaron Petri, Rod Baulch, and Jack Warner each collected two hits for Dodgers 1's 2025. Aaron Petri, Rod Baulch, Jack Warner, and Nick Whatley each drove in three runs for Dodgers. Dodgers 1's had a strong eye at the plate, piling up nine walks for the game. Julian Howe and Nate D'Atri led the team with two walks each. Julian Howe stole two bases. Dodgers also turned one double play in the game.

 

B Darley, D Morris, and S Hayes each collected one hit for Scots 1's. D Morris went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.

Rangers No Match Dodgers 2's In Season Opener

Dodgers 2's won big over Central Victorian Rangers 22-4 on Monday.

A double by Atomic Wylder put Central Victorian Rangers on the board in the top of the first.

 

Steve Skipper singled up the middle on an 0-2 count, which helped Dodgers 2's tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

In the bottom of the second, Dodgers 2's broke up the tie when Jackson

 

Harris singled, scoring two runs. Then a double by Travis Shanahan followed to extend the lead to 4-1.

Dodgers 2's scored 11 runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. An error scored one run, Eden Hardy singled, scoring one run, Jackson Harris grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored one run, David Dez Mennie singled, scoring two runs, Duncan Lever drew a walk, scoring one run, Zac Cruse drew a walk, scoring one run, Eden Hardy singled, scoring one run, Jackson Harris drew a walk, scoring one run, and Travis Shanahan drew a walk, scoring one run.

 

Dodgers 2's scored six runs on two hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Craig Eeles singled, scoring one run, Zac Cruse singled, scoring one run, Eden Hardy drew a walk, scoring one run, Jackson Harris drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.

Eden Hardy earned the win for Dodgers 2's. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and four runs (three earned) over five innings, striking out five and walking two. Joesph Trucchino took the loss for Central Victorian Rangers. The starter went two and two-thirds innings, giving up 12 runs (four earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking three.

Dodgers 2's collected nine hits in the game. Eden Hardy and Zac Cruse were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Dodgers 2's 2025. Jackson Harris led Dodgers 2's with five runs batted in. The right fielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Jackson Harris led Dodgers 2's with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 13 walks for the game. Eden Hardy, David Dez Mennie, and Zac Cruse each stole multiple bases for Dodgers 2's. Dodgers 2's ran wild on the base paths, amassing eight stolen bases for the game.

 

Ben Donnelly, Central Victorian Rangers number nine hitter, led the team with two hits in two at-bats. Riley Harrington, Charles Ryder, and Atomic Wylder each drove in one run for Central Victorian Rangers.
