U14 Dodgers Devils beat East behind Hando, Kelly & Team Effort

Blake Hando collected three hits in three at bats, as Dodgers U14 Devils defeated Bendigo East U14 18-3 on Sunday. Blake Hando singled in the second inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the first inning.
Dodgers U14 Devils got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Hamish Kelly doubled, scoring two runs, a dropped third strike scored one run, and Lewis Shanahan singled, scoring one run.

Zac Banks Broome induced Josh Robinson to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Blake Hando singled, scoring two runs, Lewis Shanahan drew a walk, scoring one run, and three runs scored on another play.

DIV1 Dodgers walk it off in epic 9inn arm wrestle with Falcons

Dodgers 1's took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 3-2 walk-off victory over Falcons 1 at CCR1. Dodgers 1's were down 2-0 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Steve Skipper tripled, scoring three runs.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Dodgers 1's pitchers struck out four, while Falcons 1 sat down four.
Falcons 1 opened the scoring in the eighth after Darryl Muns doubled, scoring two runs.
Aaron Petri started the game for Dodgers 1's. The left-handed pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs (one earned) over eight innings, striking out four and walking five. Darryl Muns began the game for Falcons 1. They allowed eight hits and three runs over seven and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one.
Steve Skipper led Dodgers 1's with three runs batted in. They went 1-for-2 on the day. Brett Ritchie led Dodgers 1's with two hits in three at bats. Dodgers 1's turned two double plays in the game.
Darryl Muns provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Falcons 1 with two runs batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Eoin Brennan, Jaysen Strahan, Nathan Larsen, and Darryl Muns each collected one hit for Falcons 1. Falcons 1 were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Bailey Waterman made the most plays with 11.
